We met Jenn and Dave last February over coffee. Andy and I both knew right away that we wanted to capture their wedding day. Photography is personal. For that reason, it’s so important to us that we get to know our couples. After getting to know Jenn and Dave a bit, I knew they were our kind of couple. Thankfully they got in touch with us a day later to let us know that we were a good fit for them too!

Now that our busy wedding season has slowed down, we can finally get around to posting some of the blogs we missed from 2012! We first met Amber a couple of years ago. She worked at the produce store down the street from our house along with her twin sister. Either because we really like fresh produce, or because we can’t see as far as tomorrow night’s dinner, we were in the produce store every day. Over the years we got to know Amber very well, and we found that we even knew her then boyfriend, Colby, from high school. After she announced that they were engaged, she told us that she and Colby would like to meet with us about doing their photography. They had so many ideas and so much enthusiasm, it was hard not to get excited about working with them!

We met Jillian and Matt a few years back when we were first starting out with our business. They contacted us to take some pictures of themselves along with their adorable dogs in a nearby park. Since then we have had the pleasure of photographing them many more times. We were very excited when they contacted us recently, as they wanted to introduce us to the newest member of their family: their baby boy, Jack. First of all, what a great name. There should definitely be more Jacks in the world. Secondly, yes Jillian and Matt, you are both good looking, but Jack is stunning. His blue eyes are so deep and pure. Congrats guys, we are so happy for you!
