Mary and Joe met several years ago at a Catholic retreat and became friends. Several years later, Joe was brewing some beer at home and posted on Facebook that he was hosting a brewing party. Mary offered her beer taste-testing skills and the two hit it off.
Mary absolutely LOVES everything that has to do with the beach! While I was at her home documenting the “getting ready” part of the day, I felt like I was at a beach house on vacation (yes, during the blizzard on December 14th!) Her home is decorated very beach cottage-esque (if these are even words) and it’s no surprise that Joe proposed to her by the ocean!
Joe and Mary had a beautiful ceremony at St. Mary’s in Longmeadow. The front of the church was PERFECT for some of their formal portraits. These two never complained about the cold or the snow. As a matter of fact, Mary was an amazing and sweet bride to work with. Nothing could have ruined her day. She even told me “I’ve been waiting 31 years for this day!”
Mary + Joe: We wish you a lifetime of happiness. You two are definitely a match made in heaven!
