When we were looking for a house, a big backyard was important. First of all, we wanted a yard for Ashley. We wanted his childhood to be filled with Slip & Slides, snow forts, and jumping in big piles of leaves. But there was another reason that we wanted a yard. For as long as I could remember, Michele wanted to have a dog. She grew up with dogs and loved being around them. While supportive, I was hesitant. I have never had a dog, and the only experience I had with them was of the slobbering or unruly variety.

Boston Engagement-1

On the day of their engagement shoot, we met Laura and Justin on the Weeks Footbridge which connects Cambridge to Boston. Andy and I had never been there before, but we’re glad we know about it now! The view of Harvard University is stunning. We got to see parts of Boston that we haven’t in the past, thanks to this adorable couple (who doubled as fun tour guides that day!)

Jennifer called us in December. I remember it clearly because we were on our way to Deerfield to The Yankee Candle Co.(with the cub) to see Santa… one of my favorite things to do during my favorite time of year. Jennifer told us that she had been referred to us by a friend of Amber & Colby. We made arrangements to meet for coffee.
